lyrics

the pulsing glow of the blasted heath
wrenching me to wakefulness from disturbing dreams

i have this dreadful feeling
that somethings watching me
it sees everything i do
its in everything i eat
an eerie mist draws my mind to the well
theres a demon living in the well

it came from the stone
that fell from the sky
it grew in the well
causing organic life to die

regular stones
do not shrink
the water from the reservoir i will not drink
all the foliage is laughing at me
the trees are alive or so it would seem

the old folks would say,
back in the strange days
things would turn gray
and disintegrate
from the well
to the sky
all that is living will wither and die

unfathomable pigmentation
obscuring my
earthly
visage
the wild life
has succumb
to a nightmarish
mutation

sickening miasma, insidious ray of light
the glowing pulse
of the after glow
illuminates
the night

a phosphorescence
a cosmic essence
